You've
obviously been getting busy letting your teachers and leaders
know about the CHEEKY MONKEY'S MARATHON CHALLENGE! Already,
over 2,000 schools, groups and clubs have asked for all the
info so their kids can do the "CHALLENGE". And so far, over
25,000 kids have already got the stuff they need to get going!
As you can see, there's been a tremendous response so far,
but there's still plenty of time to organise even more events.
So don't worry if you won't be seeing your teacher or leader
until Summer's over - they can send for your stuff then. Or,
maybe your Summer Club would like to get involved. Show your
leader the info below and ask them to call Pippa or Lisa
on 020 7404 0808 (e-mail: topbanana@leukaemia.org) for
an information pack.
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
As you probably know by now, Bubblegum has recently teamed
up with the CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA charity to help organise
a whole bunch of sponsored events over the summer and beyond.
All the money raised from these events will go to your
school/club and the CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA charity, so not
only will it be great fun, you'll be helping a worthy cause
too!
HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED?
The first thing you need to do is get your thinking
caps on and come up with a suitable challenge for you
and your mates to take part in. Your challenge must
be organised through your school or a club (youth club,
scouts, brownies etc.) so the next step is to get your
teacher (group leader, scout master, brown owl etc.)
to send off for an information pack (see further
information below)
THERE'S GOODIES UP FOR GRABS
TOO!
The information pack will explain how everything works
in greater detail and there are also exclusive Bubblegum
goodies on offer for everyone who takes part!
If you complete your Marathon Challenge you will get
a wicked certificate for your wall!
If you collect £5 or more you will get a Bubblegum
Klip'emon of your choice (these are dead cool,
you can't buy them in the shops, they are totally exclusive
to those who complete the challenge!)
Collecting £15 or more gets you the complete set of
all four Klip'emon!
Raise £26 or more and you will also receive your
choice of a COOL DUDE or GROOVY CHICK baseball cap!
And if you go completely bananas with your fund-raising,
£50 or more will get you all the above PLUS a Top Banana
Aqua calculator - Yo, add that up!
